Day 1

Colombo - Kandy

• Pick up from Bandaranayke International Airport

• We drive to the Pinnawala Elephant House, where many orphaned wild elephants are protected - you can see large herds of captive elephants bathing nearby

• We drive to Kandy and visit the famous Buddhist Sri Dalada Maligawa Temple and walk through the old town

• Enjoy over 4.000 species of plants at Peradeniya Botanical Garden near Kandy - including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees

• Overnight in Kandy

Day 2

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

• We travel to Nuwara Eliya, visit a tea factory and see the Ramboda waterfalls

• I show you colonial places at Nuwara Eliya

• You will have a wonderful train-journey from Nanu Oya (near Nuwara Eliya) to Ella – and see the phantastic landscape around

• Overnight in Ella

Day 3

Yala Nationalpark

• You can hike to the Punchi Sri Pada (Small Adams Peak), not only made for sporty people

• We visit the Rawana waterfalls and travel to Yala Nationalpark, where you can join an afternoon-safari

• Overnight at Yala or I take you to a beach of your choice in the south
